I like, except for the Trentino-Südtirol being given to Italy. They belong in a Germany.

And who is the Chancellor of the Empire? A certain Austrian comes to mind.

Photoshop, basically- I tend to find a decent base map to work from and then essentially trace over the basic elements using vector shapes, adding things as I go. Long process but I think the end result is nice.

Very nice, though I would have thought that Austria would have brought Burgenland, those large German cities in Moravia, Istria, Friulian speaking areas, and land connecting the Sudent together with it when entering this union. Could you make a map showing it internally like with Prussia? It also seems that they didn't lose to France or Italy, so why did they give up land, non-German land even, without getting Luxembroug or something in exchange?

A plebiscite was organised in Alsace-Lorraine (France was neutral in the Great War), and Germany ceded Trentino (and the German colony in Somalia) in exchange for Italian neutrality (Italy was formally allied with Germany's enemies).

How did this Germany come to be? So there was some Great War that it won?

This map is strange, the borders of the Third Reich in 1940 was a lot different.

Hitler had also abolished the states and replaced them with Gau.

i think the lorraine piece with the "To France" slogan is still a part of the German Empire. if one piece of that Lorraine territory is taken from Germany, then it is not a true empire.

Not entirely. The Lorraine border had the most German's, Alsace only had a marginal amount. Thus, returning the French saturated sections is entirely sensible; Less French citizens under your control, and a happier (albeit still annoyed) France.

A great map!

But Austria should get the Burgenland ;)

Nice map of FabR Germany, even though I generally dislike the Prussian-led German empire.

Austria looks strange. I expected some parts of German Austria (Northern Sudetenland, Vorarlberg) would become seperated states within the German Empire or at least remain self-ruling provinces.
